Today, I did something I wanted to do for a long time. Cut my hair. As in, short. So last week I cut my hair but not really short, just past my shoulder. Then today, I went to cut it so it wouldn't touch my shoulders. Yay! Anyhoo, it's layered at the bottom, and the salon lady used a really long hairdryer and one of those round brushes and she used it to kind of get my hair to curl up under my chin.
After that, I was walking home with my mom, when I was tugging at my hair fretfully (it wasn't what I wanted it to look like) and suddenly a whole handful of my hair came away in my hand!!! It was scary. I was like, Oh my God, and my mom was like, Oh my GOD!!!. Yeah. So I had to go home and keep brushing my hair until all the stray hairs fell out into the sink. It was so disgusting.
Plus, I went to EastPoint and I was looking at some kind of angel lamp with my mom when suddenly this guy showed up next to us and went like "This can play music and the light changes colours and it's cheap and blah blah blah..." while me and my mom were just standing there holding onto the lamp and going D'UHH... Then my mom pretended to be interested so that she wouldn't hurt his feelings, and she was all, Oh I see, interesting, yes yes yes... Then I pulled her away.
When we were walking again, I told her that sales people like that are really annoying and she said that it was their job. And I told her, "No, as in, really annoying. Remember that guy in Best Denki?" and she laughed. 'Cos , if you guys don't know, my family was in Tampines' Best Denki. Then we were looking at all the plasma TV's and watching the trailers of movies. There was one we all liked, I forgot what it was called, but it was something about someone trying to kill the President. My mom didn't watch it, so she was like, Move over I wanna watch! Then she asked us what it was called, and me and my sister said "Uhh... Who Killed The President!!!"
So my mom was trying to watch it, when suddenly this Best Denki guy (I'll call him Dude) went up to my mom and started talking about how at first the colours weren't nice but they put some kinda machiney thing and he showed my mom the machiney thing and continued talking. Dude talks about boring stuff, so I walked over to another Plasma TV where it was showing Ice Age. I watched it for a while, then my mom appeared next to me and said urgently "Let's go, let's go!"
Then I asked her where Dude was, and she said that he was right behind us, so I turned around and he was following us! So we found Daddy and my sister and the four of us walked around Best Denki. I kept looking behind and getting more freaked out. Every time we stopped walking, he would come up to us and tell us about something-or-another. Seriously, it was very freaky!!!
We had no choice but to leave. Ah well.
