A week in TickleMop Weatherman's Life.(In case you do not know, TickleMop Weatherman is my hamster.)
Day OneToday, I was sleeping in my little house and I suddenly woke up to the sound of someone sweeping the floor. I wanted to sleep again sooo badly, but the sweeping got nearer and nearer, and I just couldn't stand it. I had to take my frustration out on something, so I quickly ran down my ladder to the first level of my "cage". Wan Mummy calls it a cage, anyway. To me, it is a terrace house. Anyhoo, I ran down to my excercise wheel. I have to keep fit, in case any girls come by. So far, none have gone into my woodchip garden, but I am still patient... I ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran. Then I got tired and went to my
huge waterbottle to drink from it. Then
I ran again. I was very tired, so I went back to my house to sleep. After that, I went back down to the food bowl. I had some sunflower seeds (!!! I love them!!!), some yellow, green and orange dried stuff (Nehh...), some dried corn (I can't bite it...) and some brown little pellets. (They're OK) I went back to my house to sleep.
Day TwoSame as yesterday.
Day ThreeSame as yesterday.
Day FourSame as yesterday, only now I'm bored.
Day FiveSo bored, I started gnawing the bars of my house, just for fun. Wan Mummy scolded me, but I didn't care anyway... I love the taste of rust!!!
Day SixNow I'm so bored, I want to commit suicide. I've been flinging my body against the bars now. But I'm not dead. I think. Am I dead? Wait a minute... I just thought of something. How can I type??? Am I really dead?
Day SevenWow!!! Something different happened today!!! I was sleeping in my house again, when the lady who's always sweeping and cooking, she came to my house and Wan Mummy took me out!!! She put me on the bookshelf and I scampered around. I was kind of terrified, though, so I am ashamed to say... I kind of pooed on the shelf. But Wan Mummy didn't scold me. Well, not much. I watched as the cooking and cleaning lady took my woodchip garden's woodchips out. She put in some more, but they looked different. They looked cleaner. Cool! Then she cleaned out my house too. She also changed the water in my bottle, and put some vitamin drops in it. I wanted to tell her that I didn't need the vitamin drops, but I couldn't really talk their language. I could only squeak to them. Wan Mummy didn't understand, so she just ignored me, boo hoo... Wan Mummy put me back in now. She also gave me a little raisin topped with cinnamon. Yum! Then I filled my cheek pouches with woodchips and went up to my house to fill it with the woodchips. I slept in my new clean home. Then when evening came, Wan Mummy also came, and she gave me a slice of apple. Yay! It is so very very yummy. I have to go now! Squeak!
[That is a week in the life of my hamster. After the seventh day, it just repeats.]
